H&M haul that failed a bit

Ok ok, do not blame me for this. My mother decided she wanted to buy some shorts and trousers and I just didn't have time to buy all the stuff.....anyway. Here is my H&M haul.

These minty shorts I have been meaning to get for a long time-the material is so soft, and I like the fact that it's a little bit unique with it's sort-of argyle pattern. I'm definitely going to be using these when I exercise, or I'm chilling at a friend's house. They were only £7 too, so I took the bait.
This one I wasn't sure about (and still aren't) and it a chequered peplum top. I have no idea what I will put this with, or whether it actually suits me, but I decided that life is too short to be standing in H&M staring at a shirt whilst some shoppers look on to see what you decide. That and my darling mother was moaning at me to hurry up so we could go home. This was again £7....and no, this won't be a pattern like my £5 spree.
This is another one I'm not 100% on, but I feel like I will grow to love. It's a quite see-through top with three-quarter length sleeves and a subtle striped pattern. I love the sleeve length, though, and it was £9.99...ha! I told you there wasn't a pattern. What's that? They're all the same colour? Oh bugger.

And that's all I got due to limited time.....until I went into another shop. And another. My mum enjoys looking round shops like the Card Factory and Poundland, and I have to confess they do some good-quality stuff for great prices, so I thought I'd tag along. In the former I found a really cute little pillow that says 'Life life happy.' I thought it was a lovely thing to have in my room, so lo and behold, here it is.
Now....try not to judge me, but I am thinking about Christmas. In the peak of summer. When I haven't even gone back to college yet. But you have to think of it as a talent, me considering wrapping ideas whilst beads of sweat roll down my face. An absolute essential to any present, I think, is to have the little stick-on shiny-tinsel-flower-things. So I got a huge bag for a pound. Cracking.

Now that's over, we can cease with the tuts and judgey looks. Now, I also got a couple of beauty products from poundland too-a Nivea coconut body wash, and Mellor&Russell Simply Sun Kissed Hair Lightener. The hair lightener is pretty much the cheaper version of sun-in, and if you didn't know what sun-in was it's a solution that you can spray in your hair to make your hair go lighter when it comes into contact with heat-sun, hairdryer, etc. Both I needed, and both I got.
We are going to round up this rather odd haul with a super super cute home wear purchase from Home Sense. I love going in there and staring at all the amazing accessories, and this time something magical happened-a clearance sale. I found this beautiful little bird cage, with a small opening hatch and an opening lid, all in a deep bronze. I can't believe I got this for only £10, I couldn't be more happier. I did want to buy a huge pillow with a pug on it because I love pugs, but it was £25, and I just can't spend that on something I put my head on.
And that really is it! Next on the blogging agenda is my top 4 hairstyles for summer. See you tomorrow!

Kimaginary :)
